Favorites: September

It's the end of September already?! Who else feels like that went by REALLY fast, because I know I did. Well any who the end of the month can only mean one thing: new favorites! Let's dive on in shall we?

  1. Candles! I really have never been a candle person until now but I am so glad I opened my eyes to the beauty of candles. They are relaxing and smell SO GOOD!! They are honestly perfect for making your room smell amazing and if you get them at the right place they are super cheap! (Honestly I recommend Michaels! Of course bath and body works is the stereotypical first choice for candles but they are extremely overpriced!)
  2. OGX Coconut Milk Conditioner! A 13oz bottle of this is roughly $6 from Target and it is amazing! I recently got my hair done and realized I needed to really start taking care of my hair and this is what my hair stylist recommended to me! It really nourishes your hair and makes it smell wonderful!
  3. PSF! Now you are all probably familiar with Starbucks PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) and they pretty much kick started the pumpkin spice craze. However I personally have never been a major coffee fan but that is no reason to not experience the best part of fall in my opinion. So of course I indulge in a delicious Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino with no coffee. (Plus I add some java chips for an added chocolate taste.) Check this out if you're like me and don't like coffee!
  4. Bible! I'm slowly but surely growing my faith with the Lord one step at a time. I have recently received my first Bible graciously gifted from my wonderful boyfriend. I got a She Reads Truth Bible from amazon indexed and all and I absolutely adore it. My friends are helping me grow my faith as well. The other day I enjoyed a wonderful Bible study date at Pete's Coffee and I cannot wait to do it again! I highly recommend doing this during a stressful week to just relax and as a reminder to lift your worries up to the Lord since he is forever here to take them and help us.
  5. Selfies! This one may sound conceded to some but thats why I put it in here because I want us all to change the sometimes negative outlook on selfies. Some think it is selfish and just a way for people to show off, but I want the family here at Rachel's Fairytale to embrace happiness and love. I encourage you all to take selfies ALL THE TIME! It is ok to love yourself and love the way you look. There is no shame in being confident and I challenge you all to take a selfie every day this week!

Comment below your monthly favorites, I'd love to hear them!
